This fun-loving, thought-provoking hour will give you things to think about and discuss with your peers, or just sit back, listen and warm your soul.

ABOUT THE HOST
Darian America, aka Darian "D. Silk" Sims, is a karaoke DJ who has invaded the radio airwaves! Born on the South Side of Chicago, Darian has always had the entertainment bug. Starring in school plays, playing sports, or just jumping on his piano, guitar or singing, he has a love of bringing smiles to the faces of all around him. After retiring from baseball (high school, college and semi-pro), his focus fully shifted to entertainment. Darian graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Illinois Media School Lombard, then found his way to WCGO in March of 2018 to be a part of the production team. He was one of the main contributors to WCGO’s now-defunct "Producer's Hour," where station producers recapped the shows they produced during the week, along with other topics of the day. This time around, Darian is going at it solo and is ready to entertain the masses!
